The 1st Balintwak Arnis Sportive Defense & Tactical Fitness, is a LovingAct/JLKJLU proposed project to Balintawak Sugbo and Akrho Ormoc.
The Arnis Sportive Defensive Project is fully sponsored by Kærleiksverk: LovingAct.org/JLKJLU.
The purpose of this project:

To promote the values and potential of Balintawak Sugbo Arnis, our very own Filipino Martial Art.

To assist Akrho Ormoc - Youth Organization carry out projects and programs to increase participation in community sport.

To support Balintawak Sugbo´s mission in helping youth to to develop individuals who will be physically fit, mentally sound and always ready to face the challenges of the real life.
Participation in sports can support social and personal development and helps unite and strengthen communities. - ms

This activity was held last October 4, 2015 at Brgy. Cogon Gym, Ormoc City. The whole day activities provided the students and Akrho members an enchancement of creative skills and compete without having a fight. It also gave them self-control confidence and street proofing. It is also serves a strong foundation in fundamentals that will apply to their daily life.
Around 100 participants joined the training, males and females regarding of age. LovingAct/JLKJLU Mission invited "ESCRIMADOR" from Cebu. They taught the participants the technique of the "Doce Pares" which is a Filipino Martial Arts which is originated by the Late GM Venancio Anciong Bacon. The art includes weapon work, empty hand defenses and ground fighting. Every participants was provided with free T-shirt, snacks, arnis stick and was given a Certificate of Attendance signed by the trainers from Cebu City and the Akrho Ormoc City Council.
After the demonstration we have a showdown from the participants representing their schools. they are very grateful that they are prt of the said activity.

Sto. Nino College headed by Mr. Allan Ariza P.E. Instructor,
New Ormoc City National High School headed by Ms. Joan R Sergida Coach,
Estern Visayas State University headed by Brod Braian A. Rosalia - Grand Skeptron Alpha Zeta Chapter and Akrho Community members headed by Brod Mark Barte - Grand Skepron of Akrho Ormoc City Supreme Council.
A big thanks to the trainers of Balintawak Sugbo - Arnis Sugbo headed by Grand Master Carlo V Campana, Loreto G. Deada, Rolito M. Arnuza, Brod Norman P. Enaro, Elmer A. Tancinco II and Gersom O Amistoso.
Also, we weould like to thank our Akrho Brothers from Akrho Radio Manila headed by Brod Gian Raymond "Geespot" D. Lovely, Brod Jerwin Barrientos, Brod Amadeo Luis Medina Santos and Brod Ronald D. Gacote for documentation and the whole coverage.
And lastly our deep gratitude to all the Akrho Ormoc City Council and members who actively participated in the success of the said activity. We look forward for the next project or activity.
